This is a vital scientific field that prepares students for diverse career paths. Biochemistry students explore living systems while also understanding the nature of chemical interactions, offering insight into how chemical processes affect living organisms.
Starting in Fall 2025, students majoring in biochemistry will have the option to pursue a dual-degree program with the Medical College of Wisconsin. Students will complete three years of foundational coursework at Concordia that will provide the necessary requirements to transition to the Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) program at MCW in Milwaukee.
