Å·ÃÀÊÓÆµ Theatre presents “Jesus Christ Superstar,” the groundbreaking rock opera by Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice, running Nov. 13-23 at the Frances Frazier Comstock Theatre.

Originally premiering on Broadway in 1971, “Jesus Christ Superstar” has captivated audiences around the globe for more than 50 years.

Directed and choreographed by New York-based director Audra Bryant, this show examines the final weeks of Jesus Christ as told through the eyes of Judas Iscariot. This production will feature a live rock band directed by Andrew Steinberg, worship director and organist at Trinity Lutheran Church in Moorhead, Minnesota.

“Jesus Christ Superstar” will be performed in the Frances Frazier Comstock Theatre at 8 p.m. Nov. 13-15 and 20-22  and at 2 p.m. Nov. 16 and 23. Tickets are available online at or at the door. The box office will open one hour before each performance.

Tickets are $10 for adults, $5 for students and seniors, and free for Concordia faculty and staff, alumni, high school prospective students, and students in the Metro College Alliance exchange program.
