Academics

Each year, more than 500 students explore their professional interests through internships or required practicums.

Internships let you take your classroom knowledge and apply it to the workforce. Concordia is prepared to find the perfect opportunity for you, utilizing resources such as Handshake, LinkedIn, and the Career Center. Concordia challenges you through these experiences to grow your learning and understanding as part of the workforce. Many Cobbers have taken advantage of internships throughout their four years in a variety of ways.

Abby Freeland 鈥�22

After completing Eide Bailly's BOLD program, Abby was an audit intern there.

Taylor DeVine '23

A biology major with a chemistry minor, Taylor interned with the Red River Valley Dental Access Project and went on to the University of Pennsylvania's Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry program.

With an internship at the Office of the Attorney General for the District of Columbia, Megan Miller 鈥�21 shares her experience participating in the Lutheran College Washington Semester program during the pandemic.
